Grave of the Fireflies

This is one of the best movie I have ever watch
Is so sad and real...

We often take our life fore granted, we never be greatful of what we have and the beloved one we have with us.
In fact, we always complain of our life.

After watching this movie, i only know how blessed am i.
I have good food and nice cloths to wear...
I even throw away food that I dont like when the other side of the world is fighting for something to fill their hungry stomach.

This movie has really lead me to see the poor side of the world, which i had not experience and ignore.

I'll pass my time to the Synopsis below to explain the movie

Synopsis When their mother is killed in an air raid near the end of the Second World War, a young boy, Seita, and his little sister, Setsuko, go to live with their aunt. As life with her proves to be extremely difficult, the two eventually leave and try to survive on their own while making their home in an abandoned tunnel. Analysis Isao Takahata's animated Grave of the Fireflies falls short of being a masterpiece, but it is still a deeply affecting and remarkably innovative film. This story begins a flash back of the main character. He & his sister has already passed away. Flashback: In the World War at Japan. Both of this Brother and sister has lost their mother. Therefore, both of them went to their aunty place. However, their aunty did not welcome them when she knows that their mother has passed away, because they did not have anything to contribute to her. Then, both of them decided to leave their aunty place and live on their own. His sister follow him wherever he go, they rely on each another. They catch fireflies together and playing with each other @ the beach and more... But life doesnt go as good as they thought. His younger sister got weaker and weaker as time pass, and red rashes started to grow all over her small body. The doctor says its because she lack of vitamins and is unhealthy, but then the doctor refuse to give her some medicine because they were poor. So, the brother has to go all over the place to steal some best crops for his sister, but got beaten up and sent to police station. To cut the story short, he found out that his mother have some saving in bank. So he went off to collect the money so that he could get some good food for his sister. But sadly, when he reach home. His sister is no longer a healthy girl who run all around. But she was lying on her bed.... taking her last breath.. And the last sentence she says to her brother is :" Thank you Brother, you love me so much" And she passed away. After his sister passed away, he has lost his hope for life...and no longer, he too left the earth and join his sister in the other world. -The End-
