As a Christian, putting God above all is the most important thing.
However, in life there are many things or people that we tends to give priority to..
God has promise to gives us the best, but if we do not know how to manage, a blessing will turns out to be a curse if we carelessly handle it & fell into a place of making it an idol.
Idol do not just means other gods, but it could be our studies, relationship, family... etc.
In my own definition, when i have given the time & energy im suppose to give to God to the thing/person, then it has taken the place of God.
So, i have learn, the greatest love is not just giving your best to what you treasure, but to first love God, because our love will fails & is weak, only God's love is greatest! He will definitely teach us how to love & manage if we were to putting Him first, listen and obey Him.
In this life, i have to first give up something & to turn my eyes back to God.
Making the "best" a blessing, not a curse in your life! :)
